Viral coffee shop offering a wide selection of pourovers catered to our taste
Intro – A small coffee shop offering drip coffee at the counter
Ambiance – Casual
What we ordered –
- After letting the barista know I tend to drink really fruity and acidic coffees, I wanted something iced. We gave a few recommendations and I went with a light roast natural Columbian (left). He brewed it in 4 pours and indirectly chilled it over ice with a shaking tin in a bowl of ice. He poured out a small shot hot for me to try it. He also had a cold brew of it prepared of the same coffee so he offered me a small shot of that as well. It was a great experience being able to try the same coffee in 3 different ways. However, since coffee is always really personal and I just wished it was more acidic or more punchy. Rating 7.1/10
- My wife got the same coffee in a medium roast (right). She let the barista know she only likes milk drinks and they typically don’t offer milk drinks. Luckily, the day we went, they had a milk brew, which he explained was prepared the night before, stepping ground coffee for 8-10 hours in the fridge before straining. It was milder coffee flavor when compared to a latte but the flavor from the Hokkaido milk was pleasantly sweet. Rating 7.7/10.
Conclusion – this is a cool spot to try out new coffees from roasters all over the world. If you like getting pour overs from different coffee shops, you should check it out.
